Other School Support
Because tuition does not cover the full cost of education at St. Thomas the Apostle School, families are required to fulfill 20 volunteer service hours. This provides opportunities for building community and creating a special environment for learning within a caring community. All service hours should be logged on Track It Forward. Details are outlined in the Parent and Student Handbook.
STA is committed to making a high-quality, Catholic education available to God’s children in extraordinary variety. Families in need of financial assistance are encouraged to apply on FACTS. STA has a scholarship committee that meets monthly to review applications for aid and award need-based scholarships. The scholarship committee does not see the names of the applicants when determining awards. Families will be notified via mail about any possible award and must submit the scholarship acceptance letter by the listed deadline. Families applying for financial aid are encouraged to apply early, as we award more scholarships during the spring and early summer.
If you have any further questions regarding the financial aid process, please call the school office at (773) 667-1142.
