Support Our Mission
St. Thomas the Apostle students recite a pledge each morning “to do my best as a leader….”
As we prepare young leaders for the 21st century, it is important that we maintain an environment that is compatible with the high standards expected of the St. Thomas the Apostle School experience. We continue to build our educational program on the rich heritage established by the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters in 1886. Inspirational teachers have motivated students in a faith-filled environment for 130 years and, with careful planning, will continue to do so for many years to come!
St. Thomas has been blessed with the support of the Archdiocese of Chicago, the Big Shoulders Fund, and the St. Thomas the Apostle faith community. Providing an extraordinary education, however, requires extraordinary resources for additional programming, new technology, and capital improvements. Our goal is to ensure our learning environment inspires students to academic achievement, instills faith values, and encourages them to be involved in the greater world around them – now and throughout their lifetime. We invite you to help us carry on the work started by the Dominican Sisters as we lead the way to the future!
