St. Thomas the Apostle School recently had the
extraordinary pleasure of welcoming back members
of the Class of 1976 for their 40th reunion.
In addition to those living in the Chicago area,
these very special women traveled from Mississippi, Georgia, Texas, New Jersey and the state of Washington to spend three days getting reacquainted, reminiscing, and renewing their love for STA. Repeatedly, our alumnae expressed what a privilege it was to graduate from a Catholic high school like St. Thomas. After attending Mass on Sunday, the Class of 1976 was joined by several recent STA graduates for a reception and tours of the school. When asked what valuable life lesson they
learned at St. Thomas, one alumna immediately replied,
“To live each day to the fullest.” Wise words even for today’s students.
