Student School Supplies

In order for you to take advantage of some of the Summer “Back to School” Sales and to make sure you buy only what is needed, the following list may be helpful. The Student’s Full Name should be clearly marked on all personal items.

All students (Pre-K to 8) should have:

  • a waterproof back pack or book bag [rubber of plastic lined] (PreK-8th)
  • a lunch box or bag, if your child will be bringing his/her lunch (PreK – 8th)
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex: this will help supply the classroom for the year (PreK – 8th)
  • an Assignment Notebook for all students in Grades 3-8 will be given to them in school
  • a set of pocket folders for each subject (different colors). NO 3-ring binders, will not fit in desks.
  • Erasable Pens. NO Whiteout or ink eradicators. (Grade 3-8)
Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten:

Students will be provided with the necessary pencils, crayons, paper, etc. at these grade levels.

Grade 1:

2 boxes of Kleenex; 5 pocket folders; 2 primary composition notebooks; 2 boxes of 8 Washable Markers (not Pastel colors); 12 Plain Glue Sticks; 2 boxes of 24 Crayons; 2 dz. #2 Pencils; 1 pack of Colored Pencils.

Grade 2:

2 small Zipper Pencil Cases (1 for class/1 for Art); 2 dz. #2 Pencils; Paper book covers; 2 boxes of Kleenex; 8 Pocket Folders; 6 Glue Sticks; 6 Composition Books; 1 package of Loose Leaf Wide Rule Paper; Scissors; 1 Ruler; 2 boxes of 24 Crayons.

[For home use: Scissors, Glue, Ruler, Crayons and Pencils.]

Grade 3:

2 dz. #2 Pencils; 1 Blue, Black and Red erasable pen; Wide Rule Loose Leaf Paper (No Spiral or Bound Notebooks, please); 3 Pocket Folders; 2 boxes of Kleenex; 1 set of “Crayola” Washable Markers.

[For home use: Scissors, Glue, Ruler, Crayons, Pencil, Wide Rule Loose Leaf Paper.]

Grade 4:

Pencils with erasers; Erasable Pens (black or blue ink-No Red); Wide Rule Loose Leaf Notebook Paper (with a margin); Pocket Folders; 1 Zipper Pencil Case; 1 set of “Crayola” Washable Markers; Scissors; 1- 1½” Flexible 3 ring binder; 6 Spiral Notebooks (70 sheet); 1 Protractor.

Grade 5:

Pencils with erasers; Erasable Pens (black, blue and red ink); Wide Rule Loose Leaf Notebook Paper (with a margin) [No Spiral or Bound Notebooks with tear-out sheets]; 2 regular Spiral Notebooks; NO Large Binders; Protractor and Compass; Ruler with inch and centimeter ; 1 set of “Crayola” Washable Markers; Scissors.

Grade 6:

Pencils with erasers; Erasable Pens (black, blue and red ink); 2 Highlighters (pink or blue only); 1 set of “Crayola” Washable Markers; 1 Pocket Pencil Sharpener; 1 Zipper Pencil Case (No Hard Cases/Boxes); 7 composition notebooks (black & white cover, not spiral); Wide Rule Loose Leaf Paper (with a margin) [No Spiral or Bound Notebooks with tear-out sheets]; 5 Pocket Folders with prongs; 1 Pocket Dictionary; Ruler with inch and centimeter Protractor and Compass; 1 bottle of White Glue; Scissors; 1-1” 3 ring poly binder; 1 pack of tab dividers.

Grades 7-8:

6 single subject notebooks (for the 1st quarter); 3 two pocket folders with prongs; Wide Rule Loose Leaf Paper (with a margin); [No Spiral or Bound Notebooks with tear-out sheets]; Graph paper; #2 Pencils; 1 Pocket Pencil Sharpener; Erasable Pens (black and blue ink); 1 set of colored pencils; 2 boxes of Kleenex; 1 bottle of white glue; Scissors; Ruler with inch and centimeter; Protractor.

Art Supplies for Grades 2-8:

2 pencils with erasers, 1 set of Washable Markers, 1 basic set of Crayons, 1 basic set of Water Colors (Crayola or Prang); 2 Elmer’s School Glue; 1 Pocket Folder; 1 Spiral Sketch book. (All items should be labeled with student name and grade.)
